Getting Support From SORBS

Use the following sections for requesting support from SORBS. Each section explains common questions and their answers.

Please use the information to log tickets within the SORBS support system, as this will help the SORBS support personnel to assist you with your problem quickly.

An account is required to proceed!

Due to the fact we cannot filter the support queues using SORBS (because you'd never be able to mail SORBS Support) we have disabled support by email to non-registered users.

To get support from SORBS you will need to register an account (which is free) and confirm the account by confirmed opt-in email. We will never use the account you supply for anything but contacting you as your request (eg for sending reports about your networks, or conversing over SORBS listings in support tickets.) Once your account is confirmed you will be able to login to the SORBS support system below and perform a number of actions, including looking up your hostname or looking up your IP addresses and netblocks in the SORBS database. You will also be able to log support tickets to discuss listings with SORBS Support staff, as well as checking the status of any current Support tickets you have with SORBS. Finally, if eligible, you will be able to manage your own networks and listings, including delisting yourself without having to wait for SORBS staff to assist you.

If you are wishing to request access to the SORBS data, whether the advertisers URL, the malware URL lists (for acutal URL information) or for the SORBS data for local access use in your mailservers, it is a mandatory requirement that you register an account and agree to our acceptable use policy/license.
